Editorial Policy

This policy explains how My Blog builds tools and writes content, so you can judge how much to rely on it.

How tools are built and tested

Every tool must work before it is published. We do not publish placeholder or “coming soon” tools.
Each tool is tested with normal input, empty input, invalid input and very large input, on desktop and on a phone, and with a keyboard only.
Where a calculation follows a published standard (for example WCAG contrast ratios), we use the standard’s formula and link to it.
Where a result is an estimate (for example how many pixels a title takes in search results), the tool says so.
Tools never show invented scores, fake scans, fake progress bars or alarming warnings.

How content is written and reviewed

Articles are written to solve a real problem and are checked against official documentation where it exists.
We do not publish search volumes or statistics we have not verified, and we cite sources for facts that can change.
Any use of AI writing assistance is reviewed, fact-checked and edited by a person before publishing.

Updates and corrections

Guides are reviewed periodically. When we make a meaningful change, we show an “Updated” date. Minor fixes do not change the date. If you spot an error, please tell us; we correct mistakes promptly.

Affiliate links and advertising

Affiliate links are always disclosed next to the link and never change which tools or products we recommend. Advertising is labelled and kept separate from tool interfaces. See our Affiliate Disclosure and Advertising Disclosure.
