What this tool does
Formats available depend on your browser’s encoders; the format list only shows what your browser can actually produce. Transparent areas become the background colour you choose when converting to JPEG, which has no transparency.

Are my images uploaded?
No. Your browser decodes and re-encodes the images on your device. They never leave your computer or phone.
Why is AVIF missing?
Your browser cannot encode AVIF from a canvas. Chrome-based browsers generally can; others may not.
