Encode or decode URLs and query values with percent-encoding, and inspect a URL's host, path and parameters.
Add utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and other tags to any link, keep naming consistent, and copy a clean tracking URL. Nothing is stored.
It adds the parameters with the browser’s URL API, so existing query strings and #fragments are preserved, and optionally lowercases values and replaces spaces, because analytics tools treat “Email” and “email” as different sources.
UTM tags tell your analytics which campaign, channel and creative sent each visit, so you can compare results instead of guessing.
Source, medium and campaign are the core three. Term and content are optional; utm_id is used by some analytics tools to join cost data.
