How to use

  1. Drop an image or choose a file.
  2. Choose a platform size; the frame locks to its aspect ratio.
  3. Move the frame to keep the important part, then download the image at the exact size.

What this tool does

Each size preset sets the aspect ratio of the crop frame and the exact output dimensions, then the cropped area is scaled to that size with high-quality smoothing.

Why it matters

Images that do not match a platform’s ratio are cropped automatically, often cutting off faces or text. Preparing them yourself keeps control of what people see.

Common uses

  • Open Graph images for articles (1200 × 630).
  • Square and portrait Instagram posts.
  • YouTube thumbnails (1280 × 720).

Tips

  • Keep text and faces away from the edges; some apps show previews with rounded corners or slightly different crops.

Limitations

Platforms change their recommended sizes from time to time. The presets reflect commonly recommended dimensions in 2026; check the platform’s help pages for the latest values.
